1G DSM Front Lower Control Arm Billet Bushing (2pcs)

This kit includes a set of two bushings machined from 6061 aluminum, designed to replace the factory rubber bushings in the “C”-shaped bracket that secures the lower control arm.

Due to the factory welding around the inner sleeve, the bore of the “C” bracket is often slightly out of round. Measurements have shown variations of up to approximately 0.012″ in diameter. For this reason, these bushings are manufactured with an interference fit to ensure proper installation and performance. Use of a hydraulic press is strongly recommended.

During installation, it is critical to properly support the “C” bracket at the sleeve. Failure to do so may result in deformation of the bracket.

Orientation is also important:

• The larger diameter side must face toward the road
• The smaller diameter side must face toward the vehicle body

Ensure correct positioning prior to pressing the bushings into place.
