Designed for use with OEM tensioner mounts. If you are using a billet unit from BulletProof Racing, please contact me directly, as there is a shaft diameter variation of approximately 0.0015″–0.0020″. Due to this difference, it is not possible to guarantee the intended clearance of 0.0005″–0.0010″.

Based on measurements from three OEM units, the factory shaft diameter is consistently 20.00 mm. New OEM bushings typically exhibit 0.0030″–0.0035″ of play, while worn bushings in OEM mounts can reach 0.007″ or more. Excessive play can cause the tensioner pulley to push the timing belt outward on the gears, affecting alignment and performance.

These bushings are designed for use with MD195094 (6-bolt DSM) and are manufactured with tighter tolerances to significantly reduce play. Once installed, they are engineered to achieve approximately 0.0005″–0.001″ of clearance on the shaft.

Additional Notes:
This product may be particularly beneficial for 1G applications, where the tensioner assembly is now obsolete, unlike 2G and Evolution models. While complete assemblies were more affordable in the past, these bushings are manufactured from high-quality Oilite material, which carries a higher production cost. As such, this product may not suit all budgets.
